Yesterday, I taught a kid’s photography class called Say Cheese. It was so much fun! Here are some of the pictures:
I first gave them photography tips using some of my pictures as examples. Then they painted box frames, which they later added pictures to.

Then we went outside and they took pictures using my tips.
I had asked them to do a mistake picture. This one was where they took a picture of something coming out of the boy’s head.
I am so excited because my podcast is being launched next week. I will keep you posted of the launch date. The podcast will be every two weeks and will include everything about digital photography and taking portraits.
Stay tuned,
Christina

I am so excited to say that my eBook is finally completed. Join me now and get your Free Chapter right away!
It is a multi-media eBook filled with audio, video and tons of pictures I have taken over the years. I show you exactly how to take your children’s portraits, which will save you time and money. Do you know the average cost of having your children’s portraits taken? $98.92. Do you know the average cost it takes for you to take them yourself? $18.89.
One the things you need to take your children’s portraits is a digital camera. You can basically use any digital camera, but it must be great quality.
Here are some tips:
- Megapixels are important, but nothing to stress over. A good 5 or higher megapixel is best.
- Zoom, zoom, zoom - Make sure your camera has a good optical zoom. 8x or higher is best.
- Make sure it has a viewfinder and LCD screen. A viewfinder is important as it helps to focus and concentrate on just your subject. Some cameras so not come with a viewfinder so make sure the one you are choosing does.
I have been working for several months on an ebook. I decided to take it in another direction by making it a multi-media ebook. In case you don’t know, a multi-media ebook is an experience where you read a little, watch a little and listen a little. Meaning it is full of text, video and audio.
I am almost finished and will have a Free Chapter available in a week or two. Then the whole book will be completed in another week or two. I’m making sure it has all the information you need to start taking your children’s portraits.

Fall is here! Now is the perfect time to take your children or family portraits. In my state, it is so beautiful as the leaves are starting to fall and are changing colors. We just had our family portraits taken for Christmas. Take your Christmas pictures early so you don’t feel rushed at Christmas time. Plus the weather is perfect and your kids will enjoy jumping around in the leaves, or the cornfield, as mine did. Here are some of our pictures:

Since I couldn’t take the picture myself, I asked my neighbor to come over and take them for me.
My name is Christina Moyer and I have been taking my children’s
portraits for over 7 years. I discovered long ago that when I
had my own children, I was going to take their pictures.
I learned this from my sister before I had children. She had 2
boys at the time and went to a local photographer. They took the
pictures and she returned later to look at them. There were only
2 choices and she remembered them taking more.
